DC BIKERS CHARITY NIGHT OUT

Members from the DC Biker forum staged two pub crawls with a difference on Sat 1st November 08, there were two teams consisting of GIRLS v BOYS, one team started at Mutley Plain in Plymouth and the other started from the Barbican, the aim was to raise as much money as possible for Breast Cancer Care- In The Pink. Points were awarded for completing dares and correctly visiting pubs through which clues were given. Donations were collected by team members from each team on the night. A total of £169.75 was raised in total and just for fun and a bit of friendly competition between the teams the points were added up at the end of the night and the BOYS won!!!!!, they also collected the most money too!!!! .. The losing team bought the winning team shots as a good will gesture... lol

DON'T HIBERNATE THE BIKE THIS WINTER

Devon County Council has embarked in a new initiative where they want to encourage bikers to continue riding through the winter months when appropriate. The aim is to keep riding skills fresh and ready for the better weather. There is a real concern that putting the motorcylce in the garage for the winter months will mean vital riding skills will go rusty and get downgraded, leaving riders vulnerable when the biking season begins again when tge better weather returns.
